ABOUT

"I'm not like everybody else"- The Kinks

No, really. I am a French copywriter and I've been in the advertising business for over                                                  3 decades, in Paris and London.

So what is this portfolio all about?

It's about you who wants to gauge my creativity. So this portfolio of speculative works is entirely in English. Here you can see what I can do if you can't read French and wonder if I'm any good at ideation and copywriting.

However, I have also presented work entirely in English.

I came across the Creative Comeback 2020 programme organised by

Creative Equals in partnership with DIAGEO and D&AD. Its aim is to help

women to come back to the industry. I was selected (see how here) and

I worked on a Baileys brief with an AD and a designer. We got some

mentoring at MRM/McCann and we pitched our ideas to the client.

You can watch the film Creative Equals have made about the programme we attended for Cannes 2020 here.

Apart from Baileys and Copywriter Collective, campaigns in this portfolio are entirely created from fictional briefs.

However, I do write copy in English for clients, most recently for Dropbox Business, FIFA, Kronenbourg 1664, LinkedIn and Photobox. Please visit transcreatorsunited.com/work

For long copy that was part of a client's brief, please request a sample.

It is said everyone remembers where they were on 9/11. On that day, I was with Mark Perry putting the last touches to a Sniffin' Glue Souvenir Issue that I edited before the news hit us. Previously, I used to write and edit my own music fanzine, Open Up And Bleed now deposited at the British Library and at The London College of Communication. I also contributed to various punk books and CD notes.

Whatever you think of this portfolio, I'd be really interested in hearing what you have to say. And as ABBA used to sing "Take a chance on me", even though English wasn't their first language.
